Date: Saturday, May 13 (rain date: Saturday, May 20)
Time: 10am – 1pm (come for as little or as long as you can!)
Location: Oak Knoll (Road) Pond
Join your neighbors in getting the pond ready for summer – we will rake weeds, collect debris, weed the beach, and clear out invasive or spiky plants. Wheelbarrows, canoes, tarps, rakes, shovels, clippers, etc. will be needed that day.
Refreshments and babysitting will be provided by the Association. Come socialize with your neighbors while helping to beautify our pond!

The Board will hold its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, Feb 28 at the Amherst Women’s Club on Triangle Street. All EHN members and interested parties are welcome. Snacks and desserts will start at 6:30 pm, followed by the meeting. Additional agenda items may be submitted for consideration to Board Co-Presidents, Elizabeth Lingo and Krisztina Filep.

Neighborhood tag sale – Saturday, September 24.
Fall picnic – Saturday, October 1, 4-7 pm, at the Oak Knoll pond. Please bring your favorite appetizer, side dish, salad or dessert for the pot luck. The EHN Association will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks. This is a great time to get to know new neighbors and catch up with old friends, while enjoying delicious food!
As of August 5, Quabbin Analytical Laboratory states “For the items tested, this sample was found to be within acceptable levels for swimming & fishing.”

Thank you to the many, many EHN residents who came out on this oasis of a beautiful day and once again helped make the clean-up a success! It was wonderful to have neighborhood veterans, new families, and kids working and socializing. Special thanks to Jim for flagging what to cut and what to keep, Faythe for the food and beverages, Paul and Arnie for building a box for toys and tools, Jessi and Jerry for getting the dock out, Alice, Joshua and Dick for the canoes, Sophie and Grace for taking care of the littlest EHN residents and everyone for making our pond and beach beautiful! Our wonderful pond cannot be maintained without you all. Thank you again and again and ENJOY!
